NAME: Mark Telander POSITION: Q-ROC Specialist BACKGROUND: Has 20+ years in the tool-making field since graduating from Alexandria Technical College. The machine tool trade has been a cornerstone in the Alexandria area’s industrial growth, and for decased this program has continued to support the advanced manufacturing requirements of Alexandria Extrusion Company. Over the span of his career, Telander has worked in various tooling shops with his main core of knowledge in stamping dies of all sizes. His diverse experience spans from miniature parts for electronics where the detail can only be appreciated with a microscope, to punching out a large-scale belly pan/tunnel for a high-end snowmobile manufacturer. He also has vast experience in zinc and aluminum die cast molding, plastic injection molding, prototype work, production machining, and jigs and fixtures. EXPERTISE: Telander owned a shop for four years and promptly learned to appreciate the need to respond quickly to the customer, from the initial quote to a finished product.
