NAME: Jeff Helget POSITION: Medical Equipment Specialist BACKGROUND: Came to Alexandria Extrusion Company after nearly a decade in tool making outside the extrusion industry, primarily with plastic injection and rubber molds. He was also part of a tool room for a second tier automotive supplier, all experiences which Helget said gave him a better understanding of how components interact with one another to form the whole. Helget knows this background gives him added insight when it comes to working with customers in the highly competitive medical equipment marketplace. "Because I have had hands-on experience in producing tooling, I know the creativity available in the tool making process and the attention to detail it requires," explained Helget, "I have a lifetime of training to see details."
