AEC's 150,000 square foot production facility is located in Alexandria, Minnesota, where our 300 employees create and produce marketplace solutions for a satisfied and growing medical equipment customer base.

Alexandria Extrusion Company was founded in 1966 and quickly developed a reputation for providing customers in a wide range of markets with the highest quality precision machined extrusions available in the marketplace. That early commitment to our customers laid the foundation, which has allowed us to grow into the innovative extrusion industry leader we are today.
From the very beginning, AEC has recognized the value of continually challenging industry tolerances, standards and practices; pushing the extrusion process to new and exciting possibilities; and providing our customers with creative design solutions never before available in precision machined aluminum extrusions.
In 1996, we became one of the first aluminum extruders in the United States to earn ISO 9002 certification, and in 2001, we followed that up with ISO 9001:2000 certification. Along the way we have twice been recognized by the Minnesota Quality Council, and also received the Minnesota Governor's International Trade Award naming us one of the state's fastest growing international firms.
